Coffee Shop: Gloria Jean's Coffees Phnom Penh

Hubby and I are coffee and tea lovers. We're lucky that Phnom Penh seems to have coffee shops in every corner of their tiny streets.

One of our favorite coffee shop is Gloria Jean's Coffees, an Australian-owned International chain of coffee shops. Gloria Jean's Coffees Phnom Penh's first store opened in 2010 and now they have three branches - BKK 1, Riverside and Canadia Tower.

We've been to three locations and our favorite place is in Riverside.

Orchidee Restaurant

Last Saturday we tried to eat at the new resto we found along corner Streets 51 and 208. It's a new one and it looks chic from the outside. It's also quite big.

We found out inside that there are two restaurants inside. There's the Khmer resto and the coffee shop. So we headed to the Khmer resto.



Loved the set-up inside the air-conditioned room. They have al fresco dining too.

We ordered quite a lot:

Fried Spring Rolls
Lo'chaa - fried Khmer fat noodles with beef

Spicy Fried Rice

Grilled Snakehead

Seafood Red Curry

And for drinks we had fresh buko juice.

The food was good and service quite fast. But they were a bit pricier compared to other Khmer restaurants we've been to.
