Saturday Lunch Buffet at Sunway Hotel

For only $13/person, the Saturday lunch buffet at Sun Cafe Restaurant in Sunway Hotel is the cheapest buffet I have ever been to. Most of the hotel buffet in Phnom Penh range from $22 - $35.

There are several good choices of food but don't expect 5* choices. If you want a relaxed Saturday lunch, this one's perfect because they also have a live band serenading you.

Seafood and Mongolian BBQ Buffet at Himawari Hotel

Here's another place in Phnom Penh we keep on coming back - the buffet at Himawari Hotel. Personally, the draw for me is the salmon sashimi and the barbeque. Their chicken wing bbq is so delish! I bet you'd come back for more.

They don't have a very fancy spread like that of Sofitel or Raffles but if you're like me and you only want the sashimi and a little bit of something then this is the place for you too.

Seafood and Mongolian BBQ Buffet is every night and costs $21.80++ per person. It's actually cheaper compared to the other buffets in the city.

I also love it that the coffee and tea are part of the buffet. And if the weather is good, you can even dine al fresco with a view of the Mekong River. It's perfect!

We're big eaters. We used to go to a buffet restaurant every Friday night. Then hubby and I got big and we decided we should do something about it. So we stopped going to buffet restaurants for a while.

Now that we've lost so much weight, we've decided we can still go to buffets once a month.

One of our favorite buffet restaurant is Cafe Monivong of Raffle Hotel Le Royal. They have seafood buffet every Friday night. We've been in this restaurant for over 10 times already that the restaurant manager gave us a discount card of 15% on food and beverage. Hehe. Thanks Raffles!

They have quite selection of seafood - prawns, crabs, muscles, oysters, salmon, etc. You can have it barbecued, steamed or sautéed with sauce. The seafood buffet costs $29++/person.
